ELE 371: Power Systems Analysis

About The Course

Examines power system concepts and per unit quantities; transmission line modeling and analysis, transformer and rotating machine modeling; steady-state analysis and power flow; balanced fault analysis; theory of symmetrical components and unbalanced fault analysis. Project component involves simulating a power grid consisting of hundreds of buses in simulator like Power World, and performing MATLAB-based analysis to validate results.
