About The Course

The course explores the interrelationship between energy and politics. History and Politics of both renewable and non-renewable energy sources are explored with an emphasis on the geopolitics associated with them. Theories of Peak Oil, Energy Burden and others are explored along with their relationship to energy security. The course includes a research component where each student investigates the energy sector of a different country. My country of choice for this project was the USA.
